Remember your dreams
Remember your dreams and invite God
From watching home television, I was reminded of my dream to build my own home. First, I had the idea of entertainment rooms. A movie theater, a game room, and a large pool out back.
Now, as I’m in Christ, the story changes. While walking with Christ, He shows me something different. From the moment we give ourselves to Him, everything is excellent.
Today, I’m thinking how can I help others who need a home? Where can I start to build the first foundation?
Though, I would still love to build my own home, there is more than that which is planted. Holy ground. What foundation are you building on? Are you building on a rock or are you building on sand?
Next, horticulture. You may be wondering, what is horticulture? The fancy word for cultivating. I’ll just saying growing fruits and growing vegetables.
Fear has taken over many times. For example, neglecting me from food. Now, I want to give back. Give back the firstfruits that God has already given us.
Maybe, the fear of the unknown has allowed me to drift away from my dreams. To believe again reignites hope. We are believing in God for something. How much more can we believe in ourselves?
Don’t let impostor syndrome get in the way. Include God in all of your plans (Proverbs 16). Watch Him bring something to pass.
Bible verses for you:
“And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing (yielding) seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat (food).” - Genesis 1:29
“A man’s heart deviseth (plans) his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.” - Proverbs 16:9
“Commit (Roll off onto) thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.” - Psalm 37:5
“Commit (Roll on the LORD your works) thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.” - Proverbs 16:3
God Bless You!
If you would like to discuss anything or in need of prayer:

I appericate the Bible verses and I appericate the advice.
Fear at times does get in the way of accomplishing our goals, but then I remember that the lord doesn't provide a spirit of fear.
Random comment….but I like how you started this piece with discussing building a home for yourself and ourselves. It really was a great way to segue into the topic of building a strong foundation in Christ. Being a writer, things like that stick out to me :)
I definitely agree that we can’t allow fear to stop what God has called us to do. It won’t always be an easy thing to do….but we can’t delay God’s commands. The enemy hates to see us living for Christ and doing His will, so that serpent will do whatever he can to stop us from moving forward. We can’t let him win. He only has power if we give it to him.
And I think it’s amazing that you have a passion to help those in need of homes. If the Lord laid this on you, He will definitely help you to make it happen!
Thanks for sharing with us and be blessed!
