Speak Back to Fear
We are overcome by the word of our testimony. This is what the Father reminded me of. I have thought over this topic for a while. I did not want to identify myself with something I didn’t have. There are other brothers and sisters in Christ dealing with major health issues. No, I am not limiting my issue that stems from fear, but I do not have any diagnosis.
I want to take this moment and pray for those who are physically and mentally suffering. God is with you. He will not leave you, nor forsake you. His strength is made powerful in your weakness. He’s perfect and His strength is enough. God Bless You.
So, what exactly did I label myself? After much study and reviewing over past incidents in my life, I claimed to have a mute spirit. Growing up I would always get the question, Why are you so quiet? As a reserved person, I would not give an answer. Sometimes, I would get so irritated that I would answer negatively.
Forewarning: I am not blaming my parents for anything. I am just sharing my story.
My parents did not talk to me much. Sure, there were times that were necessary, but it was on their time. When I would step in, I was turned away. No one made time for me. So, in a sense, their silence rubbed off on me.
Every person who has done me wrong received the same silence. I would slowly remove myself from others. No explanations. Just taking in everyone’s surprise and wonder around me.
I did not see anything wrong. I was just beginning to get tired of hearing everything. Being so alone, it got very lonely and eerie (This is another story).
Today, I am still struggling with this fear. It has gotten a little better, but one day I have faith and then it’s gone. Just like that. This is where the Holy Spirit comes in.
God told me to speak back to fear. So many times I’ve allowed the devil to have power over me. But, we have the victory. When we fight in the spirit and not in the flesh.
Rebuke the spirit of fear. Shut down all negative thoughts and imaginations.
“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” - 2 Timothy 1:7
How we overcome:
“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” - Revelation 12:11
Our weapon:
“(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal (of the flesh), but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5 Casting down imaginations (arguments), and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;” - 2 Corinthians 10:4,5
God Bless You!❤️

Yes!!
We were not given the spirit of fear, but of sound mind…
🫂 “We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ”- 2 Corinthians 10:5, ESV
